open my own bar

I live in the perfect place for a nightclub type bar. I’m close to multiple colleges and the only bars we have here are sports bars or local dives. I think something hip that appeals to a younger crowd would be extremely successful. I just hope that i can accomplish this before I lose my ability to tap into hot trends…

I want to open an ecclectic bar; a place that offers culture. I want to incorporate poetry readings, bands and songwriters, maybe even have dance competitions and freestyle battle rap. I want to cater to the community as a whole, not just a certain genre. I want this to be a “hole-in-the-wall”. Somewhere that people are comfortable and can come to relax and either demonstrate their artistic skills or enjoy those of others.

i want to open my own bar something thats laid back but serves beer ,wine and liquor and maybe a few snacks like popcorn ,prtezels and peanuts .
