How to tattoo my wrist

How I did it: i have been getting tattoos for a while now. and i take mytime deciding what i want. make sure ill be happy with it. that its not spur of the moment. when i finally drew something i liked and fell in love with i took my next pay check and went and got them both done at the same time. it was very painful but i love them. i just need to get them touched up.
Lessons & tips: take a pain reliever before you go. make sure you have enough sugar in your body. and if you need them to stop.. they understand. dont be scared to ask

I’m having second thoughts about this goal.. I like knowing that I have the option of getting a tattoo, but I think that once I got it it’d just… lose it’s meaning to me, I guess. But if I ever decide to get a tattoo it will definitely be on my wrist.

I know I want a tattoo, but it needs to be something special. I dont want ‘love’ or something. Right now there is an line I read somewhere I really want. It’s:“It is never too late to be what you could have been.”
And If I still want this one over a year I will get one

I hope that I can get it around my birthday. I’m not sure what I want right now, but I know I just want the outline. But I’m also not sure if the place where I’ll go will have ‘vegan’ ink. I found out about vegan ink when I read this:
For starters, tattoo ink is not always vegan. It almost always contains glycerin as a carrier (the carrier is the liquid that the pigment is suspended in). Glycerin is a thick oily liquid that is usually obtained from animal fats and oils. Alternatively it can be derived from a vegetable source, but a lot of tattoo suppliers do not specify the origin of the glycerin they use, since there are no laws requiring the full ingredients list of inks to be released.
Fortunately, my birthday is in May so I still have awhile to decide what I want. ^^ It’ll probably be no more than 2inches long.. It might wrap around like a bracelet but have the main design actually on my wrist. I think that’d be nice. Maybe it could be a cross.. I’m not really religious at all, but I like crosses. And, maybe, the part that goes around could be a snake. That’d be really cool. x) Oy there are so many options!

This is my first tattoo (I want three or four in total). It took a lot of convincing, but my mom finally let me get it for my sixteenth birthday at the end of June. They were saying the wrist is the worst place because it has lots of nerves so it hurts really bad but to me, it wasn’t half as bad as I thought. It took twenty minutes, it’s on my right wrist and doesn’t hurt at all after a few days once the scab comes off. This pic was taken the day after it was done.
It’s a crab which is something symbolic to me. Partly because I know that no one has the same as me, it’s my own design and drawing, and because I’m the epitome of the Cancerian female, good and bad points, and I’m proud of it.
The symbols are joined and go right round my wrist, once again a cancerian symbol. I love it so much. Now everytime cancer is mentioned my two cancerian friends will take my wrist and kiss the crab for luck _
Anyway, I’d say to anyone who wants a wrist tat, go for it! Don’t listen to them, it’s not that bad.
