Make a christmas card list and send cards to long lost friends

Even though I didn’t really strike up a long lasting correspondence with any of my “long lost friends,” I did get cards and a few letters back. It was great to hear from everyone.

I wasn’t able to track down some addressed but I did send cards to a bunch of people, including the ones that I felt were most important to keep in touch with. And except for one old professor, which I completed yesterday, they were all out by Dec 1.

It was worth doing just because it made me feel so much better. And I just got my first return card which made it even better.

Done! Now, of course, the question is, can I do it again next year? But one thing at a time, I guess.

This should not be a difficult goal! But every year I start assembling addresses and I wind up sending out cards way too late and I usually don’t finish the list (not even all of the family members) and it’s just laziness, so I have no excuse. This year come hell or high water I am going to have them done and in the mail by December 1st, and I’m going to keep the address list and use it again next year and use this to actually keep track of people.

It’s so satisfying!
