“Believe those who are seeking truth; doubt those who find it”
    -Andre Gide

In the outlook that there is no right or wrong in the world, only opinions, we can never find the whole truth, only half-truths. I am just tired of airheads who eat anything the media puts on their plates. Are we a braindead people now? Far from it. So, for example, why do we pay companies like Abercrombie and American Eagle hundreds of dollars to actually be walking bilboards for them? Especially, when they all use sweatshops and child labour. Why do we believe Fox news and other like it when they are in fact just spewing lies to promote corporations? and same with the government most of the time? I’m also tired of not knowing.

or at least some part of the truth. There are somethings that I rather not what to know, things that should be unknown. I think I can now see my personal truth…Hmm it’s hard to explain…But anyway I am happy now.

I will keep searching the truth in the future too. So this goal will always be on my mind even I check it now done.

Truth is not contingent upon one’s belief in it, altered by the words one chooses to describe it, or wounded if neglected. It is simply truth.

The personal truth 3 years ago

I need to find out the personal truth right now. Why things went this way in my life? Do this all really have a reason?

I want too many questions that I am lacking for an answer. I need to know…

    Stop lying to me!!

    The truth? 3 years ago

What is the truth? Who defines what is wrong and what is right? My own moral perhaps? But where that moral comes from?

Life itself is a mystery. How all begun, why are we here? Everything has it own place in the world and the reason for exist. And everything we do has its consequences.

I have way too many questions and way too little answers. I want to find the truth, the reason for life. But maybe the beauty in the life is that we don’t know everything. Do I then want to know the truth if it makes life meaningless? Probably not.

Perhaps I just want to accept the truth, not to truly find it. Accept that there are questions that human can’t understand. Maybe it is better if I don’t know everything.

be open minded… to analyse the facts that come your way with wisdom. put yourself in the shoes of both side and reflect what make sense and not. don’t be afraid to ask questions… to see other’s point of view even if you cringed at the thought of having to challenge your own believes. Get to know the both opposing sides well and you are on your way to seek truth.

I find this saying by Jesus to be really a bold statement, and part of anyone’s quest to find THE TRUTH.

    Jesus said to Thomas:

“Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?”

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me…”
Source: The Bible, Gospel of St. John Chapter 14 verses 5 to 6.

This is quite a statement, life and truth are In Him.

May you find The Truth in your quest.

"Talking about Jesus" from a letter by Michael 3 years ago

“Jesus is a very real and essential presence, moment by moment, in my personal life, yet I hesitate to speak about him, because I don’t know ho to lead people past their preconceived notions of Christianity (especially of Christanity as an ideology) to the core, experiential reality I live by.

“Like George Fox, my understanding of Christ is one I have come to experientially. It stands in stark contrast to the theological representation of Jesus held by organized religions. ..

Michael Shell quotes Dorothy Hutchinson, whose article “Jesus and Quakerism” was originally published in Friends Journal on 10 August 1957. In it she wrote:

We are held together by our belief that the historical Jesus was a unique revelation to men of God’s nature and will and that there is a spiritual element in men which corresponds to this nature and will and which , therefore, reponds to the spirit of Jesus by growing…

“Quakers have tended to regard Jesus as savior in a sense quite different than that preached by many other brances of the Christian Church. We regard salvation not as abolishing the price of our sins but as giving us the desire to pay it; not as saving us from the consequence of our sins but from the sins theimselves.”

I was invited to seek truth—a transcendant finite truth, in particular. Although truth may be finite, the search never stops.
