I won’t mark it off the list until I do it by myself.
How I did it: I had to take my grandmom to the hospital and the tire was flat... had to get down and change the tire. . did get a lil help from a driver nearby... but still had the satisfaction of doing it myself....

Dont want to have to be a damsel in distress.
Guess I won’t know ‘til I try…could be real helpful one day, if I should ever be completely stranded!
I have a heavy duty garbage can with broken wheels. I also have a broken garbage can with good wheels. I can’t figure how to get the wheels off to switch them. It’s a BFI blue can and the wheels seems to be solid with no nuts or cotter pins exposed. They seem to snap on but won’t pop off easly. Any suggestions?

But it kind of sucks to have to do. Had a flat tire last night, so I had a crash course in changing a tire. My buddy helped me out getting the jack in place while I loosened the hubcap, and then I was off. It’s true that you might want have work gloves along with your jack and tire iron because it can get messy, but the grease and dirt comes off with a good hand-scrubbing. It’s really not that difficult and definitely a skill any car owner should have, but like I said: it’s not much fun to have to do.
Always keep a pair of all purpose gloves in your car; tires are incredibly dirty! And, remember to pull over to change the tire on level ground, not sand!
i had to change my buddies tire one day we skipped skool and while he was drivin around, he hit tha damn curb and the tire was popped haha lucky a spare was in da back
