See a live comedy show

I went to a small stand-up venue in New York and it was great fun. There is something that makes you kind of anxious about giving feedback to someone in such close proximity – you want them to do well so you don’t have to sit through uncomfortable reactions from the audience. That vulnerability of the comedians is what made this experience so much fun. I think a larger venue, while funny, may not have had the same enchanting experience.
