make friends in a new city

I’ll be starting my first year of teaching in Las Vegas. I’m super excited, but I’m also scared shitless. I sort of know one other person moving down there as well. Other than that, I know nobody. So, I hope to make new friends and meet some cool people. Not stupid people. Not uptight, goody goody teachers. I hope to meet some people my age that still like to go bar hopping, get wasted on the weekends, and maybe a little pole dancing. I hope to meet people with fun, sarcastic, goofy humor. Maybe other people who can quote Dumb & Dumber word for word. Is that too much to ask?
