Moments ago, I received an acceptance letter from UBC to the diploma program I applied to. I start on Monday the 18th.
The funny thing is, this goal on my 43 Things is not completed by my acceptance into this course. I’m enrolling in this program for work reasons, but the desire I’m trying to express in this item is to go back to school for something purely for my own interest. I haven’t made up my mind what that might be yet, perhaps something in literature, maybe art (though I’m quite bad at anything representational), perhaps even try my hand at philosophy…
At any rate, this program will hopefully get me back into the swing of academic life and make the transition to something I am doing for my own sake even easier.
