How to draw a comic by LAND_PIRATE

"It was a hard thing for me because I'm bad at drawing."

How I did it: It started out as a project for an ex to cheer him up while he was overseas. So since he loved all these superheros I decided to morph a few of them together into one and made his brother and best friend his side kick. It took me a very long time because I am a bit of a perfectionist and my below average drawing skills.

Lessons & tips: Come up with an original idea and go with it. Don't worry if it's not perfect because it's a reflection of your creativity!

    My comic 2 years ago

    made me laugh, and took up a free hour in the office. Well, it wasn’t technically free but hey, lesson plans can wait. Left a “to be continued” ending so I can amuse myself by drawing the adventures of Banlieue and Chiottes, not to mention Gob, in future free(ish) periods. Oh yes, they have names. Terribly drawn of course, and lacking any real plot, but then I’ve always thought most comics were one, or other, or both of those things.
    Might photograph it (I’m old school I’m afraid, don’t even have paint on my laptop) and post it to my blog if I can be bothered.
    I’m sure your breath is baited.
