resign

still need the money

I handed my resignation letter early this month with sa 30day effectivity. I was really nervous as it was the very first time that I handed a resignation letter. But I’m glad I did it. I wanna try new opportunities and challenges. Now I just have to find the right person to replace me and organize all the stuff that I’ll be leaving behind.

That was easier than expected. I kind of practiced it a lot in my head all day but it came out much better & more straightforward than all of the words in my head!

My boss said that he was not actually surprised. I told him that I’m not feeling extended & am doing routine work that doesn’t fulfill me. He also knows that I read books about following your heart because he does too & we talk about them so he was very supportive :) He also said that the idea was on the airwaves, not from gossip or anything, just that he’d picked up on my vibes…

We’ve actually discussed the notion about me working here part time in a very different & “SUPERVISORY” role (haha I will have a minion… just kidding!) & be like a trouble shooter! haha.

Today is pretty awesome.

I even went to the bank to talk money.

Today is productive AND life changing. The culmination of much hard thought.

this is big isn’t it? It’s my number one goal right now.
I am not happy where I am. I want to study more. I want to work on my own projects more. I am thinking about getting work closer to home & that is a bit more part time. I have the ability to finance all of this. So I will.
