The September Issue was playing at my local theatre this week. No one else was interested or available to see it with me, so I went on cheap night to see it on my own. It was a very pleasant experience; I grabbed a free paper to kill the 5 minutes or so before the show started (and brought myself all up to speed on port in the process) and enjoyed myself thoroughly. I would do it again for sure.

This is going to be my present to myself in the first week of June. I am going to give myself little goal-gifts. Silly things I want to do but put off all the time! There’s something I want to see on at the moment and I’m thinking I’m the perfect person to take with me LOL.
I seem to be the only one in my family who really loves movies…I always ask to go see a movie, and I get a “nah not today” kind of answer. I’m not old enough to drive, so looks like I’ll have to walk
I’ve been meaning to do this because there’s this less-well-known movie (“Gracie”) I REALLY wanna go see and I don’t know of anyone who’s heard of it nor would be interested in seeing it.
I’m making it my mission to go watch it tomorrow. :)

I’m thinking that I might go to see “Becoming Jane” on my own on a tuesday one day during my 3 hour break!!!! Because the posters are staring at me all over town, every where I go there is Anne Hathaway staring back at me lol. So either it’s a call of fate and I’m just seeing them because that’s what I’m supposed to see or a very heavy advertising campaign… either way it’s done the job because it has me intrigued!
We’ll see if I ever actually do this or if I just dawdle til the film comes out on DVD… which I actually prefer… I’m not really very fond of movie theatres/cinemas!

I’m going to do this next week- now to find a film I wanna go see… I don’t know why I don’t do this. The amount of time I spend sitting around doing nothing because my friends have other committments and junk is totally pointless… I think i might start doing more things on my own. Might even get used to being on my own :O SHOCKING :P
If I want to see a movie, I should just go instead of trying to find a friend to drag along with me. I end up missing so many movies I want to see because I can never find anyone to go with me.
I’ve seen people alone in the theater before, and never thought twice about it. I don’t know why I think everyone will notice that I’m alone and laugh about me behind my back.
Went to see Little Miss Sunshine today, all by myself! Almost completely alone – I was the only person in the theater until the last preview when an older couple came in. Yeah, it felt a little bit weird, especially cause the other people left as soon as the movie was over while I stayed through the credits (I always stay through the credits) and the theater guy was already in there cleaning up. But it was a good movie, worth paying the theater prices, and worth going alone!
It seems like no one ever wants to see the same movies I do, but I always wait for them to be on DVD. And really, it kinda freaks me out to go to the theatre alone.
