I am joining a weight loss challenge today. I am hoping to do some form of exercise every day! I hope to do this!
How to excercise every day
How I did it: P90X changed my life style. By pressing play... and working out with my wife. I also joined the support community in their website. It was very helpful because the site helps me to keep tracking of my workouts and also has many tips on how to succeed. I am still working out everyday... it became a good habit.
Lessons & tips: You should try it!

Ok, here we go, I’m promising myself that I am going to go atleast one hour’s excercise a day. While I’m at uni I’m going to go jogging every evening and when I’m home for the holidays I’m going to step it up and try and swim and jog every day!
All i need to do now is stick to it! 4 months until summer holidays, lets see how much i can slim and tone before then!
I almost didn’t go today.
My gym closes at 10:30, and I got home from work at 8:30. I figured I’d head to the gym around 9:00.
9 o’clock came and went, and I was moping around the house feeling bad about myself. Maybe I wasn’t capable of losing weight. After all, I’d been working out three whole days with not a single pound to show for it. In fact, I’d gained a couple pounds. Sure, it’s probably muscle, but it’s discouraging when you’re overweight.
But I mustered up some energy around 9:50 and hopped in the car. Only got a 15 minute cardio workout after stretching, but hey, it was better than nothing.
And whaddya’ know? I lost a pound!
I know this kind of change is gradual, but it’s good to get some statistical reinforcement.
I will keep you all aprised of future progress.
I’m getting back into this goal. So far so good.
Been to the gym the past three days in a row doing a decent mix of cardio and weights.
The idea is to be at the gym as often as possible, and on days I don’t, at least do something. Crunches, push-ups, and jogging around my house would be better than nothing.
Wish me luck!

Do it! It will give you more energy, increased self esteem and a generally euphoric feeling – Im loving it!
can’t believe it’s been 7 months since my last update.
can’t believe how long i’ve had to accomplish my goal of getting into shape.
still, there has been some slow progress, and i’m getting frequent comments that i’m obviously losing weight.
time to ramp things up into full gear.
I walk everyday 40mins 5times a week and an hour twice a week. It’s helped BIG time! I’ve never been too overweight but now I can safely say I’m as fit as I’ll probably ever be and it feels great!
I really need something like an elliptical or nordic track—-god! I’m not gonna run outside, I don’t really like that. Even after I got my mp3 thing. I tried sit ups and crunches, I even bought dance dance revolution (which is fun but I’m really lazy so I end up just listening to the music). Man,I just wish I was really toned. But not too toned, you know?
Ok Good Luck everyone!
I’ve been doing a minimum of 15 minutes a day, even on the busiest of days.
