Finish painting my bedroom

I actually found the motivation today to do this! It still needs a bit more paint here and there – I could kill the woman who lived here before me and painted the room dark blue – but it’s looking better and I feel so much better for having done this. When the blue has been totally eradicated, I’m going to get some white gloss and start on the purple skirting boards, yuk.
I can’t wait for a pristine white room to imprint my own stamp on.

does that count as progress?
Might do it next weekend; if not DEFINITELY Easter weekend as I’ll have four days off with an empty house.

..I am hoping to get this done. I am sick of it now and there isn’t too much to do so I could have it finished in a few hours. I am hoping that tomorrow is the day so then I can get my curtains put back up. If I do the painting in the morning the curtains can be back up in the evening which is a bonus in itself really.

...now its just the harder to reach places that are left to do.
I hope to get some more painting donw this week because it’s about time that I finished painting my bedroom.

...I got some more painting done. It’s been a while since I’ve done any but I was in a painting mood today and have almost finished painting all my wood work, I even found time to paint a bathroom door too.
I’m hoping to be 100% finished by the end of Feb….hopefully before then but it should be done by the end of Feb at the latest.

..I plan to do some more painting in my room. I know that I won’t get it all done but I’m hoping to get some done because it’s about time that I finally got my painting finished so I can put my curtains back up and the pictures on the walls.

for next weekend. Yuk.
Must keep in mind how happy I’ll feel when it’s done.

so how am I going to motivate myself to do this?
I think I need a deadline – let’s say the end of October. Then I can put some more pictures up.

I actually started in January, and there are still bits of dark blue showing through the white. I’ve inherited my dad’s hatred of decorating, but would love my room to be all sparkly and white. As a reward after doing this, I think I’ll get myself a new carpet…

I actually like going to sleep in my room now…
