We packed so much into 1 week that it feels like we were there for 2 weeks but we had so much fun!!It's funny, New York itself is exactly how you would imagine it to be as you see it everywhere in movies and TV but at the same time it is so beautiful and surreal and I loved looking up at the tall buildings towering over you, discovering the little villages and shopping streets like Canal Street and Greenwich Village… Read how I did it…

this is just wishful thinking. i’ll never go to nyc! ever! i’m petrified of flying and will never make it back alive.
but it’s a cool goal all the same. and even cooler if you accomplish it.

I’ve had two opportunities to go and both times, they’ve fell through. I was going to go with my brother and he bailed on me to go with his Hopkins friends. We were suppose to explore the city together. Then for my 21st birthday, my best friend decided to give me a NYC trip. He was born there and I was ecstatic to go with him. Our schedules never worked properly and then procrastination kicked in and I’m still waiting. :(

i probably wotn be gettin there for a long time, unless i win lottery or something. im struggling to save my weekly pay as it is. and savin for a car comes first. but new york..either with my boyfriend or best friend or both!!

I’m headed off to NYC for Columbia University’s Model UN Conference. I can’t wait to get there; this will be the second time EVER that I’ve been on a plane, also the second time I’ve been to the United States, but the first time in NYC! I’ve never been to a city that big – the biggest one I’ve been to is Toronto. I can’t wait!
