own a private jet

I one day hope to own a VLJ. For many people this goal requires an underlying goal to obtain the funding to do so. Any entreprenuers in this group? I also have a goal of learning to fly and obtaining the required licensing/rating to fly a VLJ. I plan to start working towards a Private Pilot Certificate next year? What about you all?

Living in a Fly-In Community like www.jumbolair.com, would be awesome. I could fly to anywhere I wanted, and then fly straight home – no long baggage queues, or taxis. The range that I could travel on any given day would be huge.

I want at the very least to be free of being tied to anyone location. I want to have freedom of movement. Currently I am at the extreme opposite end of the spectrum. I am forced by circumstance to live and work not where I choose to. When I have achieved my other goals over the years I will continually gain freedom to be and do what I want. The ultimate idealization (currently) for me is to be able to fly anywhere instantly in a private jet. This will require me to have achieved practically every other goal on my list (particularly those to do with work and career).
