hike in the Rockies

We just got back from a trip to the Canadian rockies. Impressive and breathtaking. There was still snow on the trail, but it was so awesome to get up high and see mountain tops all around you.

The Canadian Rockies are so beautiful. Had an incredible time – did the whole log cabin on a lake thing – cliche, but the best fun! Didn’t see any bears though. That should be one of my goals.

Last weekend I visited Rocky Mountain National Park (in Colorado) and hiked up to Emerald Lake with my friend. It was such a scenic hike, and it wasn’t too difficult, even for a wimp like me!

I love mountains and there are no better mountains on the continent than the Canadian Rockies.
