Specifically I would like to research and possibly write a book about my research of World War II events. I want to find stories of men who fought, what they did, how their family reacted, the intimate stories of their personal struggles and fears. I want to know more of that time.

I am talking about carrying out research work to get doctorate. If you have registered yourself that is not over. You should work and study. You may fail quite often. You may not get new ideas. It seems as thoughall avenues are already explored. Then keeping oneself motivated is a big task.
