...there is a voice in the back of my head telling me to do it, and that’s the voice of my mother, I don’t want to lose that, for months before she died she would tell me.
And now as I get into my new car, which she never got to see, and go to the classes she never heard about, I see the application and I remember her, and I smile as I listen to her yell at me to do it.

Well I want to begin working toward getting my US citizenship before it’s too late. There is just so much I’m cut off from without a citizenship it’s too important to ignore…Here’s a little background info:
I was born in Saudi Arabia, and at the age of three moved to America with my family. I basically overstayed my visa and have nothing, no social security of green card. My best option is to wait until my brother, who is a citizen, turns 21 and then through that get myself legalized.
2 years until that happens though..
So now I’m going to just prepare and make sure there aren’t any hitches, and get my I-94.

....except send the application. I don’t know what’s stopping me I guess because this was a step I wanted my mother to be here for. But she can’t anymore, and I’m afraid if I move on with this, I’ll forget her slowly.

There’s no question about it.
All I have to do is apply but it’s more complicated.
But I shall do it.

eli3abeth is excited about accomplishing these goals
My citizenship was denied because according to Homeland Security or whoever I derived citizenship through my father back when he got his citizenship…. Now I have to go through a whole other process to get my certificate.

self explanatory. i live in the united states of america & dont plan on living elsewhere til i retire, i am far from political, however its important to involve self in what will make a difference in the future, in MY future as an american, not to mention getting my citizenship will allow me to travel to places ive always wished to visit.
