and I didn’t meet my challenge to get here by this year, I am hereby swearing off sweets for the new year, whether they are actually sugar or artificial. Exceptions are as follows:

-for holidays, I will accept sugar free candy from my husband.
-when I am sick, I will eat what I can, even if it is a milkshake
-Occasionally, the balanced meal plans from yourself fitness contain sugary items (fig newtons, and a single glaze donut come to mind) I will allow myself these in the portion recomended. but I will not intentionally pick them for the sugar
    - since my husband got a waffle maker for xmas, I can have the waffles with a smallish amount of syrup.

other than these things, there can be no sweets in my diet. no cokes, no chocolate, no ice cream, no cake, no sweet tea.

    uh oh..... 2 years ago

somewhere along the line (oh say around 5 months ago, the time of my last entry) I fell off the band wagon. I’ve put on 10 of the 20 pounds I had lost, so, while I’m still better off, I’m still a massive 50 lbs off of my goal. soooo

I am not going to meet my challenge, which means Dec. 31st will be my last chance in a long time to indulge in sugary junk. So very very sad. I love chocolate. : (

because I’m not excercising! I need to do this so much more. at least I’m not gaining weight. I was 159 on friday, which is only 1 lb off my mark, but it fluctuates up to 163… so there is work to be done!

3 day diet 2 years ago

I’m not completely sticking to it yet but I’m doing it anyway starting yesterday.

I’m over 25% there. Hopefully my progress on this is about to speed up as warm weather comes, and more sunlight.

I have pretty much lost 15 lbs at this point. I started August 1, so over 6 months, and only 15 pounds, but those months included the holidays, and I’m grateful I didn’t gain any. I am weighing in at 163 pretty regularly, just not on the days when it counts to make it official. I still have 43 pounds to go to meet this goal, and if I continue at the rate I’ve been I will be 16 miles away from this goal at the end of this year. I’m fairly confident I will be boosting my excercise during the summer, which should help to increase the rate of loss. I love to hike, but not in the cold.

    Challenge 2 years ago

I have challenged myself to complete this by new years next year. that’s less than a pound a week, very doable. Time to work extra hard on this.

i need to loose 25 pounds to get this.
i am only 5’ 1”, so even an extra 10 would make a HUGE difference. 120 seems like a good goal to aim for, so im going to go for it.
