take one good black and white photo during 2007

The OU course starts today. Tonight I’ll be looking at week one assignment. Hopefully part of the course will look at black and white photo’s!

I’ve signed up for an OU course: Digital Photography. Hopefully I’ll learn something from this and maybe take a good black and white.

When I was about 12 I was given a Practica TL5B for christmas. I loved photography back then. As I grew up I “lost” the bug. A few years ago when I took up diving and visiting places I started to get the photography bug back. I was especially interested in taking underwater photos. This christmas I got a Canon 400D and the bug is back with a vengence! I’m considering an open university course and find myself buying and reading all the digital photography magazines I can get my hands on. One of the articles explained how to shoot RAW and convert the colour image into a striking black and white image, hense adding this as one of my goals. (I hope you don’t mind Stu!)

This year, I will raise the bar to £80/$150

Again… rather a challenge…
