But I’d like to get it done before April 15th. I’m sure that I’ve got a refund coming, so it’s not like I’ll have to pay a penalty if I don’t. I’m expecting it to be pretty good sized, though, since I bought a car last year and I’m going to take the sales tax deduction instead of the state income tax deduction. So that’s motivation to get it done, at least.

Finished and e-filed federal and state taxes last night about 11 p.m. I stayed in pj’s all day working on them. Boy, do I feel better – accomplishment, relief! Got a refund on federal but owe a little more than that on state – it all works out in the end.

So I e-mailed all of my information to my accountant- now it’s time to follow up with him. for some reason I have fear around this which means that I’m moving in the right direction…tbc!
I actually finished back in May but forgot they were on my list. I used Turbo tax and it wasn’t nearly as hard as I thought it would be – I didn’t need to put it off as long as I did. And about 2 weeks after finishing, the state of california deposited some money in my bank account!
