make my own clothes from old clothes

just spent ages reading about this very inspiring women who wore the same dress for a year…it sounds horrible i know, But she took recycling clothes to a whole new level!!

I’m looking for ideas on transforming old clothes into new ones (updating styles and reusing what I already have). Actually I’m trying to get my kids involved but need ideas!

hitting pillow cases for skirts.
turning too big old jeans into micro mini shorts.

so many buttons.
I’ve had bad luck making clothes, but can fix them?
btw, how do I dip dye clothes??
if anyone knows.

this is definitely my most addicting and rewarding hobby.

1. i made a pair of cargo pants into cargo shorts
2. i made the team shirt for my school more fitting and original
3. i made a halter dress for my little sister out of an old dress
4.i made a halter top out of a skirt..

its super duper fun
