I want to do this because greeting cards are so expensive. I bought a plain card for friend last month and it was $4! It was nothing special either. So I have a lot of scrapbooking things I can use to do this. Plus it sounds like fun!

Since I added this to my list, I can’t think of one card that I made. For Christmas my husband thought I’d enjoy a Provocraft Cricut personal electronic cutter, because he enjoys the cards I’ve made. It came with two fonts and some basic shapes, I added cartridges for another font and several more shapes. Yesterday, we stopped in at Hobby Lobby and I purchased some additional cardstock and patterned paper, so I should be prolific with handmade cards during 2008!
