Worth doing because of the faces they made : D
The more insensitive you ask it, the more they get angry : D
How I did it: As a former McD's employee, I understand that part of the spirit of the question "do you want fries with that?" as a desire to truly help the customer. I practice this as a work ethic. If someone asks me for something and I'm going to provide them with assistance, I find out not just what they literally say they want, but what they really need. They're coming to me because they don't have the skills do the job themselves, and part of the service I provide to help them determine how to best implement the solution to whatever problem they've come to me with... and I do it with a smile on my face and sincere desire to help them, just like the gal in the commercial asking "do you want fries with that?" Basically, I go the extra mile, making my customer happy because they got what they wanted, with an end result that is better than they expected or imagined. The ultimate result is that no matter where I'm working or for whom, I make myself indispensable.
