buy an original painting

I’ve a home to decorate, and decorating with original art is one thing I would love to do when we have the budget.

For a few weeks now I’ve been looking at art on eBay after reading tips on Wisebread. Ebay has a good selection of original works in a pretty wide variety of styles.

I tried doing this before, but then the money order got lost in the mail. Bummed.

I just bought an ACEO, a postcard size piece of art, on eBay and then realised it meant i’d acheived this goal! It’s an original watercolour painting of a Hindu girl by the artist Rebecca Lawrence.

I’d still like to buy a larger piece though so i’m going to keep it on my list of ‘things’.
