BacanaGrrl is getting things DONE!
right now.
Thanks all for the inspiration!
i am not sure if that’s really true, but i’ve gone three weeks without missing a day of bringing my lunch, so i am finally going to count this goal as achieved!
the need to save money for my impending trip to europe was the major motivator for this change, but it was accomplished by taking more care with my overall meal planning. i have taken regular trips to the grocery store and given some thought to when i really have time to cook. of course, i have had to make sure that i have enough ingredients to generate plenty of leftovers!
I ate in four days this week. I went out with my friend one day, but I had a gift card to Subway for Christmas so it didn’t cost me anything.
Well, I have to say that I enjoyed each and every meal prepared for us during December. What a treat. Now it’s back to reality and I need to get back into preparing my own lunches instead of eating out. This will be a little easier now that we have a kitchen where I work. Lunch can be made at work; we have a stove, microwave and pots, pans and dishes.
For the month of December my place of work has hired a cook to prepare a hot lunch for us!! I guess this eliminates a lot of stress for me.
As I mentioned in my entry about walking during my lunch hour, I had a really bad week this week. Since I didn’t walk most of the week I went out to eat instead. Needless to say this messed up this goal as well. I will definately get back on track next week.
I did well with this goal this week. I ate out one day with business associates and the bill was picked up by them. The remainder of the week I took a lunch from home.
This is becoming routine for me now. I made a lunch 4 out of 5 days this week and ate out once.
I took a lunch to work with me every day this week. This is getting easier and easier for me to do. A friend of mine treated me to lunch one day.
Having this as a goal on my list of 43 Things is helping to keep me in check. I only ate out once this week and it didn’t cost me a cent; the boss picked up the tab. I took a lunch with me the other days.
