The perfect city to build my dream home would be either Atlanta, Orlando or Miami! I have many ideas of how I would want my dream home to look. The perfect layout & eveything. If only I possessed the particular skills to create blueprints! I would definately map out what my home would look like!
How to build my dream home
How I did it: We stumbled upon an all modern neighborhood with plans being submitted by top modern architects. We were only toying with the idea of moving at the time but wrote a contract that day and watched our dream come to fruition for the next year.
Lessons & tips: Don't sweat the small stuff
Give your builder brownies and treats rather than complaints and negativity: you'll get much more because they aren't used to that approach.
Know that any stress or waiting is SO worth it the day they place that key in your hand.

I’m so tired of the dream house in my head. It’s time to figure out how to afford making it a reality
I want to build a home underwater like a bubble. With fish outside but me inside.

my dream home would have the clean lines of mid-century modern, the attention to detail like the arts and crafts era and the warmth of spanish style.
I have lived most of my life in the same house. I moved into it with my parents in 1963, left for a few years when I married then my husband and I moved into it. I would love to have a home that was brand new when I moved into it. I can picture the kitchen and family room as one big area where we can all gather and visit. I would have a room for my crafts with cabinets to organize my things. And my husband would have a big shop out back. Guess I better hurry if I really want to accomplish this one since we are definitely getting older!

Or on this student budget. But one day, I think it’d be incredible to create a perfect space for a family. With geothermal heat, ponds for fish, pools for playing, and so many windows, the house might as well be glass.
