This will be crossed off my list once i can confidently wear just powder foundation/bronzer and not have to put a base on.
I dont think it will take me long ,as i dont have “spotty skin”. But its certainly dehidrated and not healty.
I am going to do this by only wearing makeup when i need to

i’ve been using accutane for almost two months and it’s really working!
i don’t even use soap.
i just scrub my face with water and then hit it with ice-cold water.
i’m pretty dry most days.
but i’m not using any sort of moisturize on my face.
it has given me eczema on my arms, but with the use of epicream, it’s not even a problem.
and besides, the eczema should go away once i’m finished with the treatment.
just over three months from freedom!
peter thomas roth sulfur mask
acne.org treatment
acnefree salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide cleansers
a light hand
avoiding sleeping on my face
random lactic peels
vitamins a,e and flax oil
moisturizer
my complexion is getting better each day. yay!
i broke out like crazy and, for a time, my skin was barely recognizable as my own. i can’t remember ever having such bad acne. i think it was from the alcohol. it was really depressing. i was considering accutane. i went to acne.org and realized i was being way to rough on my skin. i started letting my products do the work instead of scrubbing the heck out of it. i cut way back on the acid peels and exfoliators. the real turn around was when i got the peter thomas roth sulfur mask. that stuff is awesome. the next day showed a marked improvement. i’ve been getting better and finally am starting to believe again that i can have clear skin. it still needs some time and consistency.

don’t apply lotion until necessary.
otherwise it still clogs your pores and makes you break out very badly.

I started taking Claravis (Accutane) two days ago. I’m very nervous. They say there’s a lot a serious side effects. Such as: suicidal tendencies, permanently thin skin, liver problems, thinning of the hair…But nothing else has worked and I’m desperate. My boyfriend successfully used this in the past, so even though I’m nervous, I have confidence it will help. The treatment is five months long. They say most people see results after four months. Hopefully I’ll get clear skin sooner.
a melange of acids—lactic, glycolic, salicylic
the perfect tools—disposable facial scrubbers, face steamer
magic lotions—benozyl peroxide, moisturizer, sunblock
persistence—wash, light peel, lotion, 2-3x a day
I’ve started a real good daily regimen and also use tea tree oil after my weekly facial. So far the results have been pretty impressive!
