How I did it: i just got myself unlimeted nationwide plan from Metro PCS for 45$ a month. and for plus 5$ i have unlimited international calls. that is so cool, i can call home a n y time i want. i think its a great deal. the phones they offer arnt so cool, but for me its about being able to make calls. i`m quite happy.

Lessons & tips: if u do get a phone from Metro PCS get a sansung - they have best reception and sound quality.

How I did it: I went to Walmart and got a cheap ass phone. All I had to do was go online and set it all up. It's Virgin Mobile and I guess it's not too bad. For unlimited calls, texts, and internet it's like $80 but you can change it every month if you want. Anyway...yeah, pretty sweet deal. Lol.   Read how I did it…

    I thought maybe I had a chance to be the last person on earth without a cell phone. But I have to admit that they do come in handy at times. So I couldn’t say no when a friend offered me an unused cell phone. She said it would cost money to cancel it, so I might as well have it and use it.

    My sister has a track phone she doesn’t need, and said she would give it to me. I like the idea of a track phone – straight to the point, it’s just a phone, used to call people, or to be called. If I want a camera, I’ll get a camera. Play games? Surf the web? GPS? I don’t think these things should be on a phone. If they are, then it shouldn’t be called a phone! Maybe a “communication center” or something catchier.
    Anyway, she may change her mind, but for now I might actually complete this goal without much effort! Since I was procrastinating about this, I couldn’t ask for more!

    Well my step son is always swapping his phone for something else, and somehow he always comes out on top well he had a sidekick that he didnt use anymore and gave it to my DH, well he gave it to me and now I have a cell phone, we are mostly affording to keep money on it but right now its empty but hey I have a cell phone!!

    One of the things thats annoying about cell phones is that people just can’t wait to use their OWN phone when they get home! LOL

    I purchased my phone from Virgin Mobile because I really only use the phone for emergencies. The only people that have my number are those that text me. When you have a car and 2 kids, a phone is a essential!
