and shared it with my #1 person. I was in great need of watching it again – It’s so uplifting and an amazing reminder.

It’s a secret in the sense that people don’t really stop to think about it. (If you keep thinking about the positive then yeah things will go your way because you would be viewing the positive side of each situation) Sure you can do anything you set your mind to. It opens up your mind to new thoughts and opportunities, that’s why it was worth watching (or so I tell myself anyway. I would recommend it/not really). Wayyy too skeptical though, especially in the “laws of attraction.” Though it’s an interesting approach.
seph is biting the bullet
i bought a secret i have always known for NZD65.
it re-emphasised what i have always known anyway.
it was a good watch.
trancegeek In Sweden For A Week ;o)
So I got around to watch “The Secret” yesterday, and it was for the most part an interesting overview of the law of attraction. That in it’s self was somewhat disappointing, there is nothing worst then finding out that the big secret you’ve been waiting to discover is something you already know about anyway!
What was annoying is some of the ways they describe it working, in particular the way thinking about things sends out some sort of mystical energy that alters the universe. It’s all too much new age bull shit for me.
But at the core, once you look at the more useful content it has a lot of good things to say, the law of attraction clearly can only been a good thing, essentially, focus on the good things you want, don’t dwell on the negative. So if you ignore the mumbo jumbo sections it’s got some good things to say, and is worth a watch, but I’m not sure I’d go as far as reading the book.
Don’t buy it either, by using the law of attraction I focused on watching the film on mu computer for free, and it just appeared there for me to watch within an hour (I may have clicked some things in bit torrent to help the universe on it’s way, but I still got my desired result)
i’m an avid believer in the law of attraction, but i haven’t seen this film yet. my exbf and i were going to watch it a million years ago. he got it from his friend, but the disc wouldn’t play or something, so it’s just been sitting on my computer for months. i actually forgot it was there until yesterday when i was going through some video files. i will watch it one day.
but worth the reminders. A lot of it stems from having enough self-confidence to do (and bring) the things everyone is really worth it to do and have. Is that a “secret?” Perhaps. We focus so much on what we’re “supposed” to have, but we forget to work towards it with love and gratitude.
It’s always good to look towards life with joy, peace, and positivity. Yes, those attitudes will reap more of that. And conversely, negativity will just bring on more negativity.
It reminds me that we are all blessed, we are all connected, and we can attain the “prosperity” as much as the next person, if we do just believe. I have certainly fallen victim to the doubt and pessimism lately, which I can identify as holding me back.
And I release it all. I am having a good life, and that will continue.
I heard all the hype about it on Oprah, and it’s intrigued me. I know it draws upon the main principles of the Law of Attraction and Reap what you sow. Maybe it will be life-changing, as it seems to be for so many, or maybe it will just be one more thing to tuck away in my brain.
But since I need to return it soon, I hope to watch it tonight.

It’s a story of a brainwave, the right headline and a marketers journey to success. It could have been anyone of us that did this. Yes, we need a mastermind group, a focus on a product and persistence to complete the goal.
We are not told how long this took who helped the process, where the initial money came, why Rhonda had to go to the US.
