Buy a camcorder

Finally got round to buying one of these recenty and it’s ace. Used it to film a lot of London. Only been once before and was able to do the whole sight seeing thing from the top of an open top bus!!! Wish i’d got hold of one ages ago. Love it!!

This definitely is an issue with the shortage of money I have right now.. so now I have to go back to saving money. Or better yet, earning money. Every once and awhile I suppose I can throw a twenty to buy this camcorder. I want to make movies of our times with each other desperately. I just want to do it!

Stupid money. =[

I just said to hell with it and bought a good consumer 3 chips from Craigslist….

Perhaps I should assume every package I’m getting is coming later than expected?

My Canon FS100 was supposed to show up Monday, but I came home after a long day of helping elderly people try to understand their computers (including a woman with macular degeneration), then visiting a tire shop because a nail decided to live in one of mine…

And there he was: a precious piece of a beautiful sparkly deep blue that fit into my hand. (And prettier than the picture.) I think angels sang down from the heavens today.

He’s charging right now, resting peacefully in our bed. I was so excited when it arrived that I pranced around with the box in my hand before even opening it.

I think I’m even more excited to really use it for the first time tomorrow when I take my niece out to see sing-a-long Little Mermaid at the El Capitan theater.

And we’re taking the TRAIN there. Yay!

I just purchased the Canon FS100 (in Sapphire) at Amazon, along with a 16MB SDHC card.

I’m so excited.

Instead of the release date it was going to have, it’s been pushed back a month. So…still pending a purchase on the Canon.

I think I’ll manage without one for now.

Maybe I won’t have to buy it.. maybe Santa will give me one next Christmas? Ehh I’m getting ahead of myself. The fact of the matter is that I always ask for a camcorder and have yet to receive one. So I believe this year I’m going to save my money up and buy one.

My personal goal. It shouldn’t take too long. But then again, I like spending money on clothes too so it’s going to be awhile before I start paying attention to this. I have to replenish I wardrobe first.

But the things I like about camcorders is that it’s like documenting your life. In twenty years, you can go back and say, “Yeah I remember that. I was a fast runner back then” or whatever. I always wanted a camcorder for the sole purpose of viewing back good times and keeping them near.

Like all the memories you can look back on. I know a journal is fifty times cheaper but seeing it and writing about it are two different things.

And Christmas Eve would be like the best time since all my family gets together and parties =]

My husband bought me one for Valentine’s Day I think it was? It’s wonderful and I love it. So many options, and so many things I’m so happy to be able to capture on film :)
