Get my birding life list to 150 birds

The great grey owls have migrated out of Canada and into Minnesota this winter. I will have to make a trip to try and spot one.

After a couple of fabulous days in the Reserva Costana Sur I’ve gotten my life list to 170 different birds. Yay!

You can see the birds from Argentina

• the monk parakeet which collects twigs in pairs and build colonies out of huge stick nests
• the always beautiful yellow winged Jackana
• the hot-red Vermillion Flycatcher
• the tiny yellow-eye-ringed Pico de Plata

Today I have 119 birds on my life list. I want to get to 150 before November 2nd. That’s 31 new birds!
