something I desperately need to revisit(...though not until this sciatic pain decides to go away), and have been recently reading up on Tai Chi again.
My Grandparents live next door to this lovely little old Chinese lady , (who doesn’t speak a word of English), who gets up early each morning to perform her Tai Chi routine outside in her front yard. I often sit watching her from the safety of my window, shielded by my Grandma’s favorite potted plants, mimicking the moves she makes, and trying my best not to be spotted…...Perhaps I should just ask if I can join her one day?
(Think I can mark this one as done?....sure why not I say! ;)

My dogs did their best to knock me off balance wherever possible, in order for them to let me know they wanted to play, and they’d had enough of this thing called “Yoga”. As 95% of the shots included dogs, and just outside of the picture frame, are four cats looking on curiously.
Quite obviously my middle name is NOT “Grace”.

the middle one is where my sciatica nerve that has been giving me trouble, was screaming at me, and I was thinking to myself “Take the damned picture before I fall over!! Cause I think I am getting vertigo from the pain!!” ...Normally I can do much better….then again, maybe not.
(Thanks again to BeeQueen for teaching me this Photo technology, and for Kitty for gently reminding me how long it’s really been since I had last done this.”

after bathing myself in sufficient cups of coffee to wake my senses up,(and to float a navy brigade) and to help jump start my MoJo Motor, I stumbled out into the garden to revisit this goal I had left so long ago, and to take picture proof of it.
My body did it’s best to resist any stretches I made, and from the off balance and stiff movement’s, I knew I had let this one slide far too long into the “neglected box” ,( a box that seem to grow bigger by the minute).
I found when I should have been centered and grounded, with mindful fluid movements, I was off balance, stiff, and most definitely forgetful. Giving myself the look of a circus act that’s just escaped from the asylum, and on a fast track back to the Funny Farm.
The above picture is of me “Pretending” to be all Zen Calm and focused….....when really I am sitting there thinking to myself “Did I leave the water on again? And what time was that appointment? Jeez my A$$ hurts, I should have brought a pillow….did I just get bit? I think I just got bit!![]()
....I shall do better next time.

limitations and your consciousness expands.

I decided I have got to start some where on this one….so I bought two different DVDs on “Yoga” today, in hopes that it will kick start me on this one…now all I have to do, is make the time to find a quiet corner all to myself, (and try not to LMAO while doing it , try for once to take myself at very least some what seriously), and hope that not only do I not hurt myself..but that I get some enjoyment out of it!! ;)

Yoga , Tia Chi….
These are things shrouded in mystery to me , as though they are enveloped in a thin veil of mist , with an aura of elusiveness encompassing it…I don’t know anyone “personally” who practice these, though I know there are many who do. I need to let any preconceived notions I have had of these practices slide off my back, and dip my bare toes into the waters of the unknown ,( I hear the waters fine..) and allow the wisdom and peace of others gone before me to seep into every pore of my being…. mantra “Be a Sponge, just be a Sponge”, soak it up, quiet the mind and body , and fuse them more closely together….perhaps I need to find myself a guru….
here is one link I was just reading, there are thousands out there…
