Do something specific to encourage Dave each day

I sent him an email to ask if he wants to do the Van Gogh days with me this year in Hood River. He did a knock out out of the park fantastic black and white photo of a sunflower last year..so maybe he will go for this idea.

...in the yard. I asked Dave “what have you done photographically today?” While I painted he took a shot of some grapes next to the galvanized aluminum. He said it was not likely to be a very good end result..but we’ll see (many times it is a surprise of sorts..what you think will be good is not and visa versa).

from our neighborhood. Encouraged him to take the very same photo that he showed me today on his digital camera (but with his large format camera). It is really an interesting shot. He might of taken this photo without my bringing it up..but maybe not!

dang! Well, I probably encouraged him somehow..just can’t remember what it was. Maybe I encouraged him to move his camera stuff outta the way (ha ha) just kidding. I’ll think of something for today

so that Dave could photograph in the Canyon. He wasn’t all that happy with the light..but at least he got out there today!

that I could forgo the kitchen remodel if he wants to concentrate on Photography this year.

to take his camera to the Delta Park today. He took a photo while I painted a painting. This was good work on my part..since he has laid off photography lately ..he needed this suggestion!

his work is just beauuuutiful. He finds it hard to promote his work, however. I am quite good at things like promotion…but I haven’t done much to help him at all—since I have been embroiled in my own “STUFF”.
Not only do I want to encourage Dave’s work in photography, I also want to just encourage him generally—hence this goal. I will do something daily, big or small, to let him know I appreciate him. :)
