I remember when... 8 months ago

I used to weigh 180. told my Mother-in-law last Christmas that I’d drop 50 pounds before the end of the year. Probably meant, I’d drop it sequentially, not here and there.

Am eating healthier, just more of it! Better balance between work and play might help!

I currently weigh about 225, about 100 pounds overweight. 180 isn’t ideal but it would be the lowest in years, and I’m not worried about having rock-hard abs and all that. Maintaining 180 would do me fine the rest of my life I think. The Master Cleanse, while I started looking into it for other reasons (I didn’t even know it is sometimes used as a diet until I’d already set a date to start) is a good starting point for weight loss! And so is the beginning of summer, I can get off my butt and stop eating mashed potatoes!



How it began 14 months ago

I’m 17, 6’1” and I use to weigh 235. I’m down to 213. I’ve been running quite a bit, one of my goals is to complete the LA Marathon.



181.8! 2 years ago

Well, I’m almost there, and I can feel it at Ultimate frisbee practices. The hardcore training we do at kickboxing totally gives me an advantage, less fat, more explosive strength. My vertical is waay higher than it would’ve been otherwise.

I was over 195, my goal was 185, now that I’ve reached it, I’m aiming now for 180 so I can get lean enough to see my abs again!
