I’m 45 and still free. Had a few years when I had to work at it, raisning my daughter as a single mom; running my own business. The world, money and responsibility will always try to get in the way. The trick, I’ve found, is in creativity. I’ve always managed to find ways to include spontainaity, wonder, and freedom in my responsibilities as a mom (raised a daughter as a free spirit, too!); in my endeavors in business and art and life.

i love running through fields of wildflowers wearing white cotton dresses. and spontaneous naked swimming at midnight. and painting myself instead of the canvas in the bathtub. and lying in the grass with my love til the sunsets. and running outside to dance in the rain when everyone else runs in. and playing in city fountains on hot summer days. and taking bubble baths with friends. and spontaneous excited kisses. and spending an entire day in bed while not being alone. and finding beauty in the most unexpected places, in that boy.
i hate order and plans. structure is no good either.
i always want to remain a free spirit. always. 6 years ago
