Remodel my office

Basement office, was already finished, but tore out carpet, replaced with laminate engineered flooring (easy to install), painted a nice deep matte hunter green.

Moved mission desk down here, wired up computers/internet, hung new closet door, new knobs on both doors, laminate flooring on stairway & landing.

Installed music cd cabinet on wall, apothecary to hold misc cd-roms, vintage stereo system for awesome tunes, 3 tall bookcases behind desk from Target give place a studious look. All wood is cherry walnut or espresso giving a rich look, hung pictures of vintage full size jeep advertisements, and best friend’s art.

Only problem is that it’s a cluttered mess! Need to get rid of crap, and get more storage space for desk type items.

My office is a pit and I think it’ll just stay that way. At least I am in the process of patching the hole in the ceiling…

Step one is cleaning the office, but that’s not really a step.

We have to figure out how we want the office to look, what we need, and how much we want to spend.

We need 2 places for computers, a place for 2 printers and a scanner, shelves, storage, a place for a stereo and our cds.

I’ll need to replace the walls, the ceiling, redo the wiring…

I remodeled my office a few months ago and now I can’t manage to leave. Big white board a must.
