Better… they’re a little tricky, since they’re so small… but I like, I like. I’m trying to decide on some graphics. I replaced my red ink and am trying to find some printable paper thet’s a little bit thinner so it’ll wrap around the sides more smoothly.

This one is Alma, the deaf-mute girl from Alejandro Jodorowsky’s movie Santa Sangre.

One problem is going to be running out of supplies. Apparently it’s difficult to find refill packs. We’ll see. WHee!

Eureka! The culprit turned out to be whoever used this contraption before me. There was a small crumpled Hello Kitty picture and pin front trapped inside, with my pin jammed onto it as well. After dislodging them, I ran mine through again and came up with this.

It’s rather gimpy after being double pressed, but it worked. And I’m guessing it’ll work even better next time.

I’ll check this off after creating some non gimped buttons.

Well, I was feeling crafty so I thought I’d give this a shot today.

I printed out a picture, carefully cut it out and followed the instructions / diagrams to the best of my non-Japanese comprehending abilities.

This was going swimmingly until the final step. I lowered the button squashing thingie. I raised the button squashing thingie. It was gone. My button vanished.

I’m thinking it’s trapped somewhere inside. I suppose I should now add “find my tiny screwdriver” to my list…

Sigh.

Yeah. I’m going to dig into the Hello Kitty button making kit Markus brought home, print out some cool pictures and make me some stocking stuffers. Can Good indeed. Now where are those old Hustler mags?
