Buster BensonBold rock, ambiguous scissor, passive paper...
Andrew was bold enough to take me up on this big money Rock, Paper, Scissors. After making our way half way across the shelf of scotch, our nerves were adequately jittery to engage in this ultimate battle of chance and hubris.
I think I won the first 4 throws. Andrew’s clearly the more learned of the 2 of us, so I suspect that I was out-playing him simply because he was trying to quadruple-guess my next move and I was only trying to second-guess his… thus leading to an illusion of my own advantage.
The final score was 10-3, me. Next time I see him, we’re going double or nothing… but this goal is now complete. 5 years ago
