Have a big salad every day. When it’s hot make fresh fruit smoothies. Add veggies to pasta. Stuff portabello mushrooms.

I average about 8 servings of veggies and 3 fruit a day. An example of what I eat everyday:

Breakfast
oatmeal
1/2 cup berries


Lunch
a large romaine and spincah salad with broccoli, carrots, red onions
a cup of black bean soup
orange


Afternoon Snack
baby carrots & hummus
small banana


Dinner
broiled salmon
grilled squash
herbed green beans



Drink your fruits and veggies 3 years ago

This week and next week are “dental work” weeks so I am drinking my fruits and veggies this week. Fruit smoothies, V8, and carrot juice are my friends.

I’ll be thrilled when the dental work is done because I miss ccrunching. I miss my salads.

This is almost impossible for me to acheieve. I hate vegs and am too lazy to munch on fruits. But trying to improve slowly. Now on average 2 servings..trying to squeeze one more in.
