Your body just loves all those fruits and veggies…and the bonus is everything runs very, very smoooothly! Hahahha!
Have a big salad every day. When it’s hot make fresh fruit smoothies. Add veggies to pasta. Stuff portabello mushrooms.
I average about 8 servings of veggies and 3 fruit a day. An example of what I eat everyday:
Breakfast
oatmeal
1/2 cup berries
Lunch
a large romaine and spincah salad with broccoli, carrots, red onions
a cup of black bean soup
orange
Afternoon Snack
baby carrots & hummus
small banana
Dinner
broiled salmon
grilled squash
herbed green beans
This week and next week are “dental work” weeks so I am drinking my fruits and veggies this week. Fruit smoothies, V8, and carrot juice are my friends.
I’ll be thrilled when the dental work is done because I miss ccrunching. I miss my salads.
