I was a DJ for a few different online radio stations and loved it.

TheClash is getting out of the house
scary at first but then its A LOT of fun.
I host a regular show on Chicago’s #1 station and am now teaching a Radio Workshop class at the college level.
I am now part of a radio show on 4ZZZ on Friday afternoons, once a month. I am loving it! I love this format for performance!
Great personality and love to talk!! that is something i am soooo good out!! I had host a radio show on blog talk radio got pretty big until i did a segment on sexual predators and they didn’t like it! we all have a voice and we need to stop these predators! so i am looking to host my show somewhere else!!
emailed this guy at a local community station last week and then he sent me an email that said, “Call me.” Don’t you just hate that…couldn’t he have sent me something to hook onto in the email like, “Yeah, that’s a good idea.” Or, “No! We don’t need any more silly radio hosts.” Now I’ve got to follow up with a phone call. Pooey!
I may have more opportunity to begin this if I get in school this semester. College radio falls short of my goal, but it’s a start. Also, I will be starting a podcast very soon to accompany my blog and newsletter, and that sort of counts too.
i had a radio show for two semesters, during which time i shifted gradually from club-friendly goth to more industrial/neo-folk stuff. no one listened, the mics never worked, half the time i nearly forgot to prepare a setlist…and i loved it.
the best part was playing old cocteau twins LPs from the music library. :)
there’s a new radio station in newcastle asking for people to do shows. i sent an email requestion a form but they haven’t gotten back to me.
i think i’m gonna pay ‘em a visit.
