The movie  — 1 month ago

Pay It Forward is a great inspiration to this goal too!

It’s about doing something big (something hard) for 3 people…things they can’t really do on their own and in turn, they can’t return the favor. They have to (if they so choose) to pay it forward to 3 more people, who keeps the chain going. The movie was actually hella sad but also so very good. It could’ve been better I think. I wonder why I didn’t hear about it when it first came out, though. I wish I had seen it when I was younger :).

to be done by example as the best way to start. I mean, I can’t preach it if I don’t do it. Well, I could. Many people do. But then they’d call me on being a hypocrite. So first and foremost, I must do what I want to do for change, and then inspire others by discussion, invitation, and encouragement!

It's as simple as setting a date and following through, if you make noise, the powers that be will take notice  — 7 months ago

If you want the world to change you cant make it change by being the good and soft spoken people you are the loudest people and most aggressive people invoke change and we all know it. If you think the world is going to hell its because the most aggressive people are the worst and the greediest and the most powerful. To invoke change we the good and disheartened of this planet need to get aggressive and work to break down the machine, not donate our time and effort for free to allow the poor to subside and the rich to not have to do anything. Its time for a protest, its time for a riot, its time for a revolution. May 24 and 25th 2008, take to the streets, spread the word. I know it sounds crazy but we can do it, make your voice heard and if it doesnt work the first time scream louder. Its time for the rich to turn out their pockets to fix the issues of this planet, they have the power and they dont use it, so it is now our time to use our dormant power. Less polution, less disease, no starvation, population control not through war but through planned parenthood, educate the poor countries, no more war!!! Simple things and we have the power to make this a reality, above all else do not lose hope and make it happen, I will do my part, I hope you will do yours! Don’t forget May 24 and 25th weekend, spread the word brothers and sisters, we can still save this planet and our race!

    Peace, Love, and ACTION!

You Can Lead a Horse To Water  — 10 months ago

    Not worth it!

I’ve tried this for a long time and it doesn’t seem to be making a dent,so I’ve decided just to go into my hole and live and let live.

Or at least I have tried to do this...  — 11 months ago

    Worth doing!

I won’t stop with this goal. But I realise that I have already had an influence on others in the way they interact with the world. And at the end of the day the best way to do this is to lead by example.

not really world changing, but ive noticed something that proves one person can have an impact on many people

i learned how to solve a rubiks cube awhile ago (just stay with me lol) and showed my friends. after awhile they told people, and i showed those people. then my teachers heard about it and made me show them. now i see at least one person carrying a rubiks cube between every class. and the strange thing is, hardly any of them know that i can do it.

now, a rubiks cube is not life changing, but what if instead of a rubiks cube it was something much more important. knowing this effect is possible was crazy when i noticed it. even though they dont know i started it lol, the fact that it happened is awesome.

i just wish world peace looked as cool as solving a 6 colored cube

If we all put a little something into helping instead of sitting back with everyone else who just unhappily accepts it all, we could change the world.

    Water  — 1 year ago

We have major water restrictions here in Australia, we need to save as much water as we can. Water will be worth more than fuel soon, if we run out, what then?

So i plan to have plumbers from my company set up grey water systems so the water we put down the drain can be used on the garden or lorne. Also i believe it should be compulsory to collect rain water off the roof and into a tank. The government is offering $1000 to anyone that buys a tank for this purpose. It makes complete sense to me, so i am going to get one myself and then encourage others to do it.

I will have mine by the end of the year and i will align with one of my plumers to do this for as many people as possible.
