I forgot about this goal and I totally just bought a ticket for March! I’m pretty excited!

I don’t think Morrissey will be holding any concert near my place… so I don’t know when I’ll accomplish this goal.

One of the best live performers around.
how much does being a poor college student sucks? a lot!
He was here, in my city.. the show was one day before my 18th birthday. and I couldn’t go. Tickets were offensively expensive.
I want a second chance, everytime I think about it, it makes me want to cry.
But I really don’t think he will ever come back.
lostintranslation is refocusing.
After the Smiths broke up, when I first heard Morrissey without Marr, I thought that I could never love him solo the way that I love the Smiths. That sentiment is still somewhat true – it’s gestalt – but I first saw Morrissey live during the tour for Kill Uncle and quickly learned that he puts on one hell of a live show. Morrissey is one of the first performers that I saw actively help his most enthusiastic fans join him on stage and allow himself to be touched rather than let the normally overzealous security guards eject these people. I have seen him many times since – I truly have lost count, though I haven’t been to a Morrissey show in the past few years. The last time I saw Moz live, he’d just started performing Smiths songs live again, but he was also starting to show his age – his performance was not as physically energetic. An entertainer as great as Morrissey does not have to give a physically charged performance to be good – he could just stand there and be a crooner and seeing him would still be worthwhile, especially if you’ve never seen him perform live.
