    So... 20 months ago

    ... I’ve made this commitment to save 20% of my salary every month. Today I was looking at tour packages to Russia – it is extremely expensive and it will take me about 2 years to save enough just to get there. I’ve always been fascinated by our neighbors to the North though… It is actually a crying shame that I haven’t been to Namibia yet, so I’m going to save for a trip there. Although I have a mortal fear of thirst and am a bit scared of the desert, I’ve always wanted to see the Skeleton Coast and all the little towns like Swakopmund, Luderitz, and the red dunes of Sossusvlei. Sossus means “place of no return”... Scary! :)
