SJHabitual

This has slowly become a habit, so I think it’s safe to check it off as “done” for now. I’m even being good and making a note of things when I don’t have the notebook on me, and then writing everything down later. 5 years ago

SJUntitled

Doing this is forcing me to notice that some authors tend to overuse big words, to the point where it gets annoying to stop and write it all down. I suppose I don’t have to write down ones where the definitions can be inferred. Damn you, Philip Roth! 5 years ago

SJHow many?

How many books do I need to keep this up with in order to be able to say that I’ve made it into a habit? 5? 10? So far I’ve gotten through 3. My notebook and my dictonary go everywhere with me these days. I think it’s time to invest in a bigger bag to carry all this stuff! 5 years ago

SJI've Started Doing This

I have a notebook that I can’t use for journaling because it has no lines. As I’ve said before, I am very particular about these things. So far I’ve kept up with this during my last two literary endeavors. I want to keep it on the list until I’ve made it a definite habit. 5 years ago
