How to exercise 5 x week.
How I did it: First of all, I think I was apprehensive about the equipements in my gym at first but once I got familiar with them it wasn't such a chore getting on them.
I got on the elliptical for 15 minutes then slowly progressed to 30 minutes by the end of the week.
Lessons & tips: Once you develop a routine, the whole exercise thing doesn't seem very daunting.
Resources: I got a 3 year membership at 24 Hour Fitness. You basically pay a big lump sum for the three years (when I enrolled it was only about $600) and then you only have to pay $35-50/year (depending on which deal you get). So, in the long run, it's makes more sense than paying $35-$50 per month and ending up paying $420-$600 per year.

now that the weather is warming up I can do this. Also it’s daylight savings time so the sun will be up when I wake up making it easier to get to the gym in the morning. I have a hard time getting there when it’s dark and cold.
I used to do this as a matter of habit a while ago then let myself slack. Now it’s time to get back into it! Here it goes.
My hours at work changed, so it’s a little easier to go 5 times a week.

and should be able to keep it going!
I used to be an international athlete training 4 hours minimum 7days a week, i ended after over training and falling out with my coach. This bad ending made me rebel against sport or exercise for a while but now i want to do something and don’t know what. Ideally i’d like to swim again, but not with a club, i’m too flabby at the moment, i’d like to swim in a local pool but so many people swim widths and get in the way. It’s even worse if i join a gym jsut to swim, those horrid old women who’ve been members since the year dot and insist on swimming in the separated training lane at 0.0001knots!!
I have a dog and walk him but i need something more, i have been doing 20squats and 20wall presses every time i go to the toilet, and 20 crunchies morning and night to try and help.
I want something free but i cannot run for love nor money, my knee and groin always give way (Old swimming injuries).I do not deal at all well at the gym either. I think i need to join a club so i have people to go play with.
Mostly 5 days a week – but there is always something isn’t there?
I refuse to be discouraged, I will keep going to the gym
...i used to always do this, for most of my adult life, and it’s been lovely. I don’t know why i stopped. i won’t ever again.
As well as regular gym i started kickboxercise and pilates classes.
