Fasting

Today I begin my 40 day fast. I’ve never accomplished a 40 day fast but I feel it necessary because I need to regenerate and cleanse myself. Too much drinking as of late, and with drinking comes the late-night bad-snacking and general malaise. My body needs a good solid detox. I’m going to do the first week of just water, and then move into vegetable juicing and water. I’m looking forward to this actually. I’ve fasted for a few days in the past and I have to say, the feeling is calming and positive.
As long as I’ve got music, a pen and paper, I’m good to go. Oh, and water.
