I am always looking for new greener way of living.

ummmm… i’d rather eat some cheetos. but at least organic is healthy.
Worth doing!
mostly. The only things I don’t like that are organic is soup and cheese. I haven’t found even one cheese I like that is organic. I love the produce, though. It’s spectacular tasting.

I love organic foods. I shop at whole foods a lot now. The food is great and the people at the store are very nice.

Even “organic” food that you find in the grocery store might not be 100% organic like how you think it is. The laws for a food project to get the certified organic labeling are very wishy washy and there are A LOT of loop holes in the laws regarding organic projects. Do your research.
I know exactly what is in the vegetables I eat. I make sure to buy heirloom seeds, and harvest a small portion of seeds each year to start over with again during planting season. I do all my own canning. It is very time consuming.
If I make differnt choices in the grocery store, I could do again. Whole Foods sells itself as being a better deal than the “other” grocers. I kind of doubt that. But I will check to find out.
In addition to raising me vegetarian, my parents were always careful to only feed me organic produce. I was content with knowing that I would not be developing any horrible medical conditions and whatnot, until one day in Biology our teacher decided that we were going to experiment with celery.
ORGANIC celery.
Suffice to say, looking at it under the microscope made chemicals seem incredibly appealing. Seven- (or was it nine-?) legged bugs are pretty gross. I haven’t stopped eating organic, for the most part, despite the outrageous prices, but now I’m careful to wash everything thoroughly.
There is a local organic store in windsor “Natural earth organics” http://www.naturalearthorganics.ca.
My goal is to start shopping my grocery there.
I’m not gonna become vegetarian or vegan, I just want to be careful about where my food comes from. I do not want to eat food from factory farms or eat genetically engineered food. You can buy cartons of eggs with double yolks, which freaks me out like you wouldn’t believe.
