enjoy the summer

3 days left and im goooooonee to “Laikas”!!! (party) a place where time stops..leaving a room for dreams!!
totaly enjoying the summer!!

This summer is expected to be special :) Finally,the school is comming to an end (mm) and after exams together with my shcoolmates we are planning to visit Nida for a couple of days! on June 27 – July 4 im going to the most beautiful place called “Laikas” (mm) just cant wait!!!
Then i hope to visit my friend in London and finally,by the end of this summer,i hope to go to Cyprus!
:D sooo many plans.

I’m sad to see it end. School starts in two days. Today we will go to the waterpark one last time and then go to a picnic. It’s a beautiful day…Just the right send off to Summer!

• R went to Boston to stay with a friend and his family for a week. We went out there to pick him up this weekend and had a nice visit. The grils miss each other. They played and swam non-stop. Next year I hope they can have a week together too.

• S and I have been enjoying the Tour de France. It ended today. I daydreamed about when we will finally get to Paris and hope it will be on the last day of a future Tour!

• I bought K a “Gentle Leader” collar and our walks are even better than before. He used to pull very hard when we passed another dog and ended up coughing from the pressure on his throat. Now he still pulls a bit when we pass other dogs, but now he is easy to redirect and never chokes and coughs.

• We’ve been to the waterpark several times. For some reason I have been going on all of the waterslides with the kids that I wouldn’t go on before. And (surprise, surprise,) I am having more fun this year!

• Garden project coming along nicely. I have to go back to the garden center that sells brewer’s compost.

• S and I went on another bike ride today. Fun, except…I don’t go anywhere with hills because I am a weak wimp with only three gears. But he lured me in a direction I aviod with promises of fresh veggie stand purchases for tonight’s dinner. I couldn’t resist. He had to give me a push the last few yards of the big (relative to my abilities) incline just before home. Ha! So, I’m a weak wimp. We had fun anyway!

...we have been happily busy swimming, camping, hiking, bike riding, picnicking, and reading. Plans to do more of the same and more. I’m feeling so good about having the opportunity to stay home with the kiddos during their summer break! : )

yep…..done this. had as much of a good time I really could with the weather not being ideal but it was alright.
best bits about the summer were my holiday, meeting up with friends I don’t get to see much anymore due to various reasons, my week off work, duck racing, and wearing summery clothes :)

I tried to enjoy the summer, but I just don’t like warm weather. I tried to enjoy some things about summer, though.

I’m officially marking this as done, since it’s the autumn equinox this weekend.

i want a real fucking summer.

ever since i started high school, all 3 summers between the grades have been taken away by a combination of summer class and summer homework.

i expect to make up for lost summers in the post-graduation summer.

Had a week off work last week, just chilled out, went out almost every day, and it was sunny most of the time :)
we went duck racing (www.thegreatbritishduckrace.co.uk), and I’ve been shopping loads, and then just seeing friends.
Apparently September and October are going to be quite nice weather-wise :)

This was such an action packed summer for me. I can’t believe I had such a good time. The first month I spent at the Atlantic Coast and the World Affairs Seminar. The week of that seminar was one of the best weeks in my life. I met so many great people and the girl of my dreams. Then I came home and just relaxed for two weeks and hung out with friends. About halfway through the summer, I got a job and I’m still rolling in the dough. The trick about having a good summer is the subtle balance of planning and spontaniety. Have a good one!
