When my daughter got Ovarian Cancer almost 3 years ago I thought my world would end. But, we made it through the dark night. She is doing fine and cancer free but there is always that question in back of our minds: will it come back? We believe God is in control and don’t worry about it, but we are always mindful that life is short and we should cherish each moment.
We live each day thankful for life and health. God has blessed us so much. My 3 year old grandchild needs her mom and I need my daughter. I want to spend all the time I can with her, just enjoying her life, her personality, her joy of living.
If you have a daughter (or son!), cherish the moments. You never know what tomorrow holds.

...at 11 I am so amazed by the words she writes.
Tonight while doing her homework she shared with me the following:
I have a DREAM that can change the world.
I have a DREAM that can turn sadness to happiness.
I have a DREAM that can save many lives.
I have a DREAM that can make man one step closer to peace.
I have a DREAM, but will you listen to it….
I told her that her writing just takes my breath away!
Enjoy,
James

...last night she ask to watch a movie with me. I said yes of course.
We purchased Tombraider…since my daughter is very much in tune with the Laura Croft character and the fact that she is a women.
Talk about an action movie…definitely one of her favorites. Mine as well…;-)
Cheers,
James

Shopping with my daughter made me happy today. Also Cooking dinner with her, and hanging out. We made goodie bags for trick-or-treaters and we had a nice time. So basically spending time with my daughter made me happy today.
